About the artist
"I believe our connection with our animals is vital for our well-being, so my mission is to create art that reminds people of the love they share with each of their animals, helping them to feel peace."
Gayle Latuszek has been a student of art all of her life. As a child she began drawing in pencil, then learning jewelry making, clay and pastels while growing up in the Chicagoland area.
As a result of working with animals for over 20yrs she developed many physical problems that have actually allowed her art to take more of a center stage in her life. She continues to learn by experimenting with color, materials and technique with acrylic paint and gold leaf. She studied design and art history through a local college in Greenville, South Carolina.
Now enjoys living with her family and pets in her new studio on the beautiful ridge of the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee.
